WHAT HAPPENED TO THE PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE?

I believe that this is the reason why prayer was taken out of school.

I Pledge (meaning-I engage solemnly)(solemnly-meaning-I religiously swear)Allegiance(meaning-loyalty) to the flag of the Untied States of America.And to the Republic for which it stands.One nation under G-D indivisible(meaning-not separable into parts)with liberty(meaning-state or condition of one who is free)and justice (meaning-fairness)for all.
