RE: Legal Services

Dear Mr. Paige:
I met with you on January 5, 2004 and was able to obtain shelter for you at Grace House,a part of Union Mission. I also explained that you need to take your brith certificate and a letter as proof of address to the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) on Eisenhower drive to apply for a Georgia ID card. I suggested that you obtain a letter from Grace House, which would be proof of address.
I submitted your case to our Case Acceptance Meeting on January 13, 2004. We are unable to assist you with your problem with the federal authorities displaying your photograph on their websites. Our resources do not permit us to undertake such a large effort.
Finally, you stated that you had applied for SSI at the Social Sercurity Administration office. I explain that we cannot represent you, but that after you attend your frist appointment on February 10, you should wait for a letter of decision as to weather your case is accepted or denied. If it is denied, you will have 60 days to file an appeal. We recommend you use an attorney at that point. you may contact Lawyer Referral Service at 236-9344 to obtain the name of attorneys specializing in social Security law to see if one may be able to act as your attorney. They charge a fee of 25% of the first lump sum payment, dating back to when you first applied. I will keep your file open for 15 days to see if you have been able to obtain your Georgia ID card. I wish you the best of luck.

Sincerely,
(His Signature)
Christopher D> Colson
